  2. How do I pay? Can I use my credit card?


    To confirm or book an order for small cakes, a 50% down payment is required. You can pay directly at LMG Pastry Chef’s office at La Guardia Lahug or deposit the money via METROBANK or BPI. For Account Details, please contact Lani M. Garcia.
    We only accept cash or check.

  3. Where is your shop located?

    We can send you a SKETCH of our location via EMAIL or send you directions via TEXT. You can also call us for directions.

  4. Do you have a pricelist posted here in your website?


    Only our Cheesecakes and Pastries have fixed prices. Customized and Personalized Cakes, Cookies and Cupcakes have different pricing according to the item’s design, size and amount of cake in it. A price can only be given if the design has been made. A range could more or less be estimated accordingly. Contact us for Inquiries.

  5. How many days should I order ahead of time?


    -For our bestseller I love New York Cheesecake, you can order 1-2 days before pick up date.
    -For other Cheesecakes , Pastries and Breads, you can order 2-3 days before pick up date.
    -Small Customized Cakes for All Occasions, please please please order 2 weeks to 1 month before the event. For rush orders, we would gladly accept it if we are not fully booked yet. However if we are fully booked, we can’t accept orders anymore. Contact us anyway.
    -Wedding, Debut, Anniversary and other Big Bulk Cake Orders………. it would be best if you order 1-6months before.
    -December and June Wedding, Debut, Anniversary and other Big Bulk Cake Orders………….please book a couple of months before these busy dates. Some couples even book a year ahead for the crazy months of December and June!

  6. What time do you open and close? Can I just go to your office anytime I want to?


    We entertain guests from 10AM to 5PM Mondays to Saturdays. You have to set an appointment if you want to drop by. Sometimes I’m (Lani M. Garcia) out delivering cakes or out for certain errands and since no one else at our office can entertain or design cakes for you, it would be useless if you drop by when I’m not around. So give me a ring or text a couple of days before you want to drop by, so I’d be here to entertain you.

  7. Do you have an outlet or shop? What is a commissary kitchen exactly?


    No we don’t have an outlet or shop. We don’t have a display of ready to buy items. Everything has to be pre ordered ahead of time. We do have a fully functional commissary kitchen and office. This is where we do cake production and entertain customers by appointment.

  8. What are the flavors of your cakes?

  9. Do you customize cakes? Or should I just pick designs from your albums?


    YES and YES. We always customize everything accordingly. You can also just pick from our album and have it exactly that way or we can make certain changes to that. You can also bring pictures of how you want your cake to look like and we can work from there creating our own version. We also have a lot of cake design photos here at our office to show and inspire you. Book for an Appointment now!

  10. Do you ship cakes outside Cebu?  Can I order if I’m not from Cebu?


    LMG Pastry Chef is Cebu based. If you’re living outside Cebu or outside the Philippines but celebrating your event here or you know somebody who can pick up the cake for you then YES you can order. We can just settle everything via email or phone. We do not ship outside the Philippines but we can crate big cakes and box the smaller ones for shipment within the country. We do not take care of shipping methods. You can just pick the crated/ boxed items and take care of the shipping yourselves.
    Yes, we have done this before but the clients were somehow from Cebu or knew Cebuano friends who picked up the cake for them.

  11. Do you set up the cake table and deliver the items to the venue?


    For weddings and big events, yes we deliver the items to the venue. The cake table is always prepared by either the hotel, restaurant or caterer. Big venues in Cebu always have spotlights available. For smaller venues you can borrow items like spotlights, risers etc. from us. We set it all up. You just need to pay a deposit for the borrowed items and once you return everything in good condition, we will return the deposit as well.
    For extra requests like fresh floral arrangements or balloons, we can do that but with an extra charge.
    For small cakes, you have to pick it up here from our commissary kitchen.
    Sundays, we can deliver but with an extra fee.

  12. Do you do cake tasting?


    For big cakes (Weddings) Yes we always have cake tasting on the 2nd appointment upon confirmation and payment of 50% by the client.
    For small cakes, we don’t do cake tasting.
    For Cupcakes, we don’t do tasting as well.

  13. Are you open on a Sunday? Can we pick up cakes or have cakes delivered on a Sunday?


    We are CLOSE every SUNDAY.
    Sundays, we can deliver but with an extra fee.

  14. Do you sell or can I request a sugar free cake?


    No, we don’t make Sugar Free Cakes.

  15. Do you make naughty cakes for bridal showers?


    Yes we make certain naughty fun designs for any occasion.
    However we don’t do certain explicit designs.

  16. What icing do you use? Do you do boiled icing or Marshmallow icing?


    Click on FLAVORS please. Click on Fillings. We use these as frostings too.
    No we don’t do Boiled icing/ Marshmallow Icing/ Italian Meringue.

  17. How big are your cupcakes? Can you sell them at a lower price if I want them smaller?


    Cupcakes are of standard size and pricing. We use LARGE 55mm Base x 35mm Wall Cupcake Papercups. We can’t make them smaller nor bigger.

  18. Are your big cakes made entirely of cake?


    Your cake order could be entirely cake or with a cake dummy somewhere. Some parts could be Styrofoam depending on the customer’s preference.

  19. Are your cakes expensive? What if I have a fixed budget? Could you work on that?


    Sure. We always work according to the client’s budget. Our prices are quite reasonable.

  20. Can I ask for a discount?


    All prices are fixed according to the size of the cake and the intricacy of the designs we do on your cake. If you want a cheaper cake, we can simply either make the cake smaller or simplify the design a bit. But guaranteed, we always do our very best to make every cake unique, neat and yummy.
